Orkkuka Vallappozhum

Sohanlal, who won much acclaim with the tele-film 'Neermaathalathinte Pookkal', makes his directorial debut on the big screen with 'Orkkuka Vallappozhum'. With veteran actor Thilakan in the lead role, the film is a nostalgic trip into the past of an aged man.

Sethumadhavan's journey into his past begins when he undertakes a trip to a hill-station where stands an old bungalow. The hill-station and the bungalow take him to his past, into his early youth. Then Sethu shared a bond of intimacy with a girl named Paru, who incidentally had passed away years back. And now, in the present, Sethu comes face to face with memories of Paru and his early years.

The loneliness that he experiences in his life, on account of the death of his wife and also on account of his son being far away, in a foreign land, makes him seek refuge in memories of a past that meant much to him. While Thilakan plays Sethumadhavan, it's debutante Shilpabala who plays Paru. 'Goal' fame Rejith Menon plays the young Sethumadhavan.

Singer-actor Krishnachandran makes a comeback to films after a long time with 'Orkkuka Vallappozhum', which also has Chali Pala in a key role.
